"It is really hot here in Hurricane, Utah!! It is only 20 miles away from St. George and I guarantee you pronounced it wrong when you read it haha it is pronounced Hurricun. The people here are just great I kind of feel like a celebrity when I hear little kids say THE ELDERS!! as we walk by. I have already had 2 meals payed for and someone flag us down begging us to come over if we run out of food or money. So Mom put your mind at ease I am being taken care of by thousands of women who say the same things to me as you would. We have a car in our area so we are really lucky, we get to stay out of the heat...The mission is so fruitful, there are so many here ready for the gospel...Oh by the way they want the missionaries in Hurricane to be at the front of the parade on July 4th haha they just really like us here!...Well I love you all and miss you terribly. I don't feel homesick because the Lord has set apart Utah as my home for a while..."
This is just a small excerpt from the amazing letter we received from Elder Christensen this week. He is having a wonderful time and we can't wait to see what he has coming next!
